The aluminium exterior cladding on the pivot window is applied using polyester powder coating, chosen for its resistance to UV degradation, moisture, and the harsh weather conditions of the Irish climate. The thermal break within the aluminium profile prevents cold bridging at the frame, maintaining the insulation value of the overall assembly and protecting internal surfaces from condensation in cold conditions.
